HIPF offers Advanced Technology Course in Plastics Fabrication for plastics professionals who would like to learn more than the basic plastics fabrication they have learned in their Diploma Course, or their current jobs.
The course is open to all the graduates of HIPF, as well as for all those already working in the Plastics Industry.
Course Description
Course Objectives
The main objective of the course is to upgrade professionals’ knowledge and skills in high-performance plastics and advanced fabrication technologies. To achieve this objective, trainees are given lectures and practical training on the four categories below.
Course Outline
· Category 1—Engineering Plastics
Use of high precision injection molding machines in the study of engineering plastics including PA, PC, PMMA, PBT, etc., and evaluate the differences between engineering plastics and commodity plastics by hands-on testing on laboratory equipments.
· Category 2—Strategic Plastics
Thorough study of Saudi’s "Strategic Plastics” (PC, PMMA, TPE, PET) and its’ typical applications using special molds in practical fabrication training.
· Category 3—Advanced Fabrication Technologies
Learn about advanced fabrication technologies, and the latest trends in plastic materials and processes.
· Category 4—Secondary Fabrication Technologies
Knowledge and skills in secondary fabrication machines and assembling technologies in practical training.
Training Duration
· Six months training course consist of 237 hours classroom and 673 hours practical training.

Maximum of twenty five participants
